We have had a beautiful day today, +10C with sun and a light breeze.  We couldn't ask for better, especially as it is only February.  

We opted for a walk this afternoon, taking in the view of the city of Glasgow.  My photo shows how Glasgow sits in a valley between the hills, and our viewpoint looks towards the Campsie Hills, very much loved by hillwalkers.  Many a good day we have had there.

And we had a great chat with John and Alice, hiking friends, who were also out walking there.  It is lovely to have a chat, much appreciated in these days of lockdown.  

Home now and dinner in the oven.  Pork chops with onion and mushrooms, with a baked potato and some swede on the side.  It smells great!
