Pussy Willow

This furry catkin, aptly named Pussy Willow, belongs to the Salix family. The branches are very spindly so the plant is grown more as a shrub rather than a tree.

Good to have a walk round the loch after our online church service. Plenty of noisy bird activity as the geese pair up and prepare to increase the population. The will be around for the next few months ..... the Pussy Willows won't so I have chosen one of the wee furry catkins for my blip.
