Crocus pollen please

Well what a lovely day! I think we had 14C, sunny and no wind. It was delightful in the sunshine and the bees were in agreement, busily collecting pollen from crocus and nectar from snowdrops.
This is a great sign as it mean the queens are active and laying already.
Rob did some major hacking and removed the over large Formium. Although it has been there for maybe thirty years I have become less fond of it as it looks pretty tatty really. Well it did! We are thinking of a new pond in its place as it’s almost level ground, which is unusual in our garden. We shall see.
