On the wall

Inexplicably wide awake at 4am and, surprisingly, stayed wide awake all day!

Sunny and mild, so MrM went off on a morning cycle ride, while I went for a walk down to the river and round about. Over-warm on the way back, and ended up carrying my jacket. Lots of moss on a wall near the auction room, and my eyes were drawn to the fruiting bodies catching the sun.

Back home I tried to rake up some enthusiasm for decorating the hall, and eventually sealed the knots on about half the wood. Hoping to do it all today but, like most DIY jobs, it took longer than anticipated, and I'll be happy if it's finished tomorrow! Getting there slowly...
