Just look at this beauty (the 'tache by the way).

On the left is Pete Varley, the best number four I've ever played rugby with.

On the right is John Field. An exeptional open-side flanker and the sporter of facial hair that makes women weep (with laughter).

I'm very, very fortunate to be able to call these men my friends. Out of shot are Jamie (Badger) Weaver and Dave Pritchard and the same applies to them.

I see them all too infrequently but I think they know much I love them. I hope so.

We met and talked, which made today a good day.
