Seaside
We made a return trip to Lytham today, to collect the kit Mr A dropped off last week as he needs it for a job later in the week.
It was an absolutely glorious day, so it would have been rude not to eat fish and chips by the seafront.
The clear skies meant we could see right across the Ribble Estuary, which was lovely.
I’d mentioned our visit last week to my work pals in Preston; one of whom said the chippy we’d been to makes the best fruity curry sauce.
Mr A was desperate to try it, so he picked up our lunch from the same place today and rated it a solid 10/10!
We didn’t stay long as we had loads of camera kit in the car, so just a quick 15 minute roll along the prom (not too far from the car) for a bit of fresh air, before heading home.
Mr A is working away tomorrow, but has to travel down tonight, so I’m home alone for the night (eeeek!)
We’ve not been apart since I returned from hospital in November, so it will seem strange sleeping alone tonight.
I’m glad I’ve been practicing using a single crutch; it means I’m ok to carry a cuppa or a plate of food in my other hand so I know I can manage. For one night anyway! ;-)
