Fire on Ice

This sunrise did not
disappoint. The flames came up
and spread so quickly.

I woke up very early this morning. The overnight temperature was above freezing and I was going to shop for groceries at 7 AM. I packed myself out the door a little ahead and drove down to the edge of the North Thompson River in hopes to see a sunrise. 

I didn't have to wait long for the colour to come up and spread across the sky. It backlit Mt. Peter and Mt. Paul and poured pink on the frozen river. There's my blip done and dusted for the day!
