(World) Thinking Day 2021

Who else remembered that today is Thinking Day or, more correctly since 1999, World Thinking Day? I used to love wearing my Brownie/Guide uniform to school on the days that 22nd February fell on a weekday. Today I would not fit into either, so instead I took out the badges earnt when I made my promises as a Brownie, Guide and Ranger. I polished the brass on the Guide and Ranger badges (probably for the first time since the 1970s), then photographed them for my blip.

Also today: I made two vats of soup (beetroot and tomato, carrot and coriander) and a chicken and leek pie; rode my exercise bike; popped to LIDL to buy some bulbs; and worked some more on the important document for the looming deadline. I'm looking forward to Quizzy Monday this evening.

Exercise today: 55 minutes on the exercise bike.
