Mirror, mirror, on the wall

The walls in this dim hallway were adorned with an eclectic selection of art pieces on display for tonight's Artwalk. The old brick walls, the uneven, sagging floors, and the high ceilings were a fitting setting for this particular piece, comprised of jagged shards of glass and mirror and other found objects, that wound up being an unusual means for a self-portrait.

Despite the drizzly weather, it was a real pleasure to leisurely saunter about on this fairly balmy evening, stepping into a shop from time to time to peruse their displays, and sometimes catch a bit of music. Though we didn't mind tonight's rain, I'm sure a warm and dry August Artwalk will be that much more enjoyable.
