Our first day of freedom! It feels good.

I spent more than an hour stalking people for photos today and got some nice shots, though the ones I really wanted all said "no". I need to work on my technique... However this guy wanted 100 rupees for his photo so I said no, then he said 50, I said no. I said no money and he said ok, and was more than happy for me to take his photo :-) I had spotted him earlier in the day outside our flat, he was walking around with big carpets on his back trying to sell them. I wish him luck...

The sun is shining and we have prepared 20 pencil cases for the mini-monks tomorrow, each case has marbles, chocolate and a pair of spiderman pants in them! They are lucky boys I can tell you! :-)

It is starting to feel like we are on holiday and we are looking forward to spending next week doing some relaxing and then going off to walk in the mountains.... :-D
