Portobello Potteries

Today is an absolutely beautiful spring day, so popped down to Portobello (Edinburgh's seaside) where I blipped the potteries.

Two kilns, 39 ft high, have survived from Buchan's Pipe Street pottery works, Portobello. The pottery closed in 1972. These kilns can be found at the side of the road in Rathbone Place, Portobello, behind Portobello Funfair.
