Summerhall

After going to the Lupus UK benefit concert last night at Summerhall (checkout KryptoMart's blip for yesterday), we decided to revisit the building for a mooch around and a visit to the cafe.

Summerhall was previously the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies but which is now a creative hub for the arts with studion and workshop space. Since its opening in 1916 until 2011 this 11-bay Edwardian Baroque college building was the Royal Dick Veterinary College, commonly known as the Dick Vet. The Veterinary College was founded by William Dick (1793-1866).
