Awake and Hungry!

Spring is upon us, the water temperature has lifted, and the fish are out and about. Or maybe they smelled the frogspawn... I really need a polariser, but in the lack of one this is just an iPhone shot on the wide setting. The shiny white fellow is not the largest fish in the pond - but clearly is the luckiest, being so visible! Hopefully the heron has migrated to the lakes and rivers now; it tends not to visit after winter. He says, fingers crossed...
