There was no social distancing...

... amongst the deer at Studley Royal Deer Park, this morning. 

Fortunately there were very few humans around, but the deer were jostling with one another to look at the stranger in their midst, with what looked like a camera on pole (because that's what I was using). I spent a very enjoyable hour or so, photographing them in beautiful sunlight. 

This was one of the first images taken as the deer decided it was probably wise to stand up and move around a bit, in case an emergency dash was necessary.

The couple of extras were taken as the crowd got used to my presence and started to relax.
