Splash of colour

My mother's  jewelry  collection throws up surprises. I have no idea if this is a special event brooch, but it does look old. Any ideas?

A lovely bright day with showers, but I managed to get 2 loads of washing hung out to dry. I wish I'd  blipped it as it was a bit of normality taking me away from the past few days. 

Lots still to organise yet. Tomorrow  the last day at Mum's flat.  It must be emptied  and cleaned and keys returned before Monday. Luckily I will have help of Sis and sis in law.

Had the joy of speaking to two different solicitors today, those were Mum's and my new one. Apparently  my old one is not playing ball with him. He told me to contact him again to remind him and if there's no answer by next week, my new one will contact  the Law society.  Finally a lawyer with backbone. After 3.5 years of hell with 5 lost sales of my plot, I need all the help I can get.

The week is passing and I will have the weekend to regroup  with my Ally and and Mr.R
