Rosalie in the Ripples

Although I get a lot of silhouettes, there is something to be said about seeing the sunrise. Very peaceful this morning with the dock to myself, just waiting for the giant orb to appear.

Rosalie wouldn't do a take-off for me, but she did venture in to the sweet spot in the water. She is a white pelican, and is named after a wonderful woman who used to live in our complex, who has had to quit coming to Florida after her equally wonderful husband Eddie passed away. ;0(

I was torn between a bird, and the stillness of the scene just before the sun came up. I put it into the Extras.
