Sunny Southend

A quick visit to the seaside today as we had a few errands to run, and it was just nice to hear the water again and enjoy the glorious sunshine! These turnstones were being sent to sleep by the sound of the crashing waves too!

And as we sat on a bench for a while, the local celeb Lee Mead - he of Joseph fame and ex hubby of Denise Van Outen! - walked past! He lives along the seafront so it's not the first time we've seen him along there! He was just enjoying the sun like the rest of us! All parking along the seafront is still banned though and I don't think it will be allowed until the end of March! Not that it is stopping people visiting haha!
