Leatherhead Railway Bridge
We have had glorious weather today, a beautiful spring day with sunshine and blue skies all day. When I went out to get groceries I went via Leatherhead to get a photo of the old railway bridge - I have been waiting for a sunny, calm day to get this shot before the trees came back into leaf. There is not much choice in where to stand to get this photograph, so this was probably as good a spot as I could get.
After lunch I had my one to one session with Colin on processing black and white images - he uses a different technique for colour images. I had sent him a few of my raw images yesterday so we worked on those today - I learnt a lot, but am now feeling a bit zoomed out and my eyes need a rest so I won't be spending anytime on Blip today. We will have another session next week end. The main thing I learnt is not to do global adjustments to an image but to work on small areas at a time.
We were planning on having take away pizzas tonight but by the time I finished with Colin it was after 5pm and there were no more slots available to order the pizza - they are a small business and only take on what they can handle. So we will get some other take away I think...I still have to do the ironing and I don't feel like cooking tonight.
