A walk on the heath
What a beautiful day today - despite a bit of early morning frost it was warm and sunny with gorgeous blue skies. We went off to the heath for a walk and Tommy and Inca joined us - for them this is their weekly walk as they work so hard all week that they don't have time to get out for long walks during the week. While many of their friends are spending the term at university, Tommy and Inca were saying they have preferred being home this term as they can get so much done at home away from university where they have pressure to do more socially. Even in lockdown there is socialising in their bubbles at university so they find that at home they can just get on with their work, and both having such demanding courses means they have so much work all term.
It got so warm on the walk that everyone was taking off their coats. Even Xena had a paddle - see extra!
After lunch Gavin went to pick up a take away dinner from his golf club, who are doing very reasonable dinners which are cooked but just need to be finished off in the oven. Tonight it is a Thai prawn curry and there are small starters and a pudding too.
This afternoon I listened to another RPS talk by a fine art photographer who showed how he processed his black and white images. I noticed Paula, another blipper also on this same talk. I confess I got lost at one point in the talk when it all got a bit too difficult for me but it was still interesting to see his images.
