Naturalization

Spelt the American way appopriately as today I attended the US Customs and Immigration Service DFW office to be interviewed for citizenship of my second country!  It seems somewhat momentous to be able to become the citizen of another country at my age, but having 2 countries and 2 passports seems like an abundant blessing!  Everything was done with safety in mind, and I passed my US history and civics test - I was exempt from the English portion!!  So in about 2 to 3 weeks I will be invited to salute the flag and be accepted as a fully fledged US citizen.  In other news, business continues to keep us going and it appears that the advent of the vaccine is causing positive improvements in the impact of Covid.  Gutters were going on the roof today so I'll have to post a picture of the new roof tomorrow.  Off for a walk now the big storms of last night have finished - this weather - minus 19 deg C last week, this week 25 Deg C and last night almighty thunderstorms.
