There was a "dirty old man" used to sell newspapers in Carlise.  His war-cry:-
"There's nut many left now; there's only one or two left."  This with a two foot pile of papers beside him.
With this beauty, he'd have been correct.  What happened to the others I have NO idea; there's no evidence of any diggery/pokery in the vicinity to allow me to blame rodents; but this is, literally the last of the few.
