Moving is hungry work

Having packed away most of the kitchen we enjoyed a trip to the DIY store to cover a few sins and these delicious spicy noodles. You know the real reason you love them is because they are oily and sprinkled with msg. But after hauling books and clothes into boxes, we definitely deserved it.

We picked up the keys to the new house at 4pm and by 6pm we were exhausted from packing. We hadn‘t moved the boxes or started cleaning. The road ahead seemed long. Thankfully we had a knock on the door from Machiek, a polish neighbour and friend who is an expert mover and taskmaster. „We will do it by 8pm“. With his help 6 suitcases, 6 boxes, instruments, lamps, amplifiers and backpacks of stuff were in the new house by 8pm.
