Prosthetic Knees
After last nights pancake session and being plied with alcohol at my leaving drinks, I ended up cooking the team lunch this morning. In chaotic scenes last night I sliced potatoes for a tortilla that was never made. They had all oxidized in the morning.
Rory was given instructions on how to make a tortilla and I darted off to sort out my German drivers licence before work.
At 11 I collected the tortilla from Rory who was amazing and even washed up to save the day. The team lunch was a triumph and some nice compliments were passed back and forth.
I had a last coffee with Cinzia before I leave for England tomorrow! I will be packing late into the night.

This is a photo of Luis holding the prosthesis he has 3D printed for an NGO in Ethiopia, he moves to Addis Ababa next week... more on this very soon ;). Luis has been making pages and pages of calculations to produce this knee. It’s been months in the making and I can’t imagine the relief he must feel seeing it in the printed flesh!
