Dusk

Villa de Leyva is apparently ruled by dogs. Every street in the town has at least three dogs each curled up on a cobble, or lounging in a doorway. One particular mutt was the same shade as the cobbles, which added to the hazardousness of walking down the street. Suffice to say, I didn't spend much time looking up, as I was too busy negotiating cobbles and avoiding treading on a member of the ruling elite.

On this particular evening we went to the local salsa club, accompanied, predictably, by a pack of hounds, one of which spent some time sleeping in the middle of the dance floor.
