John the Baptist

I sometimes day dream about the photographic trips I'd like to take - the English Lake District, Yosemite National Park, a safari in Kenya. Maybe one day, but not today. Today has been about admin and getting ready for tomorrow in church.
This is the cover on our font, which shows John the Baptist. I have to lift it off whenever we have a baptism, and I can confirm that it is very solidly made. It is also beautifully carved, so when I do lift it I do so with very great care!
