Progress
So wish i had charlie's wing clipped before now. The progress since has been great. Andrew taught charlie to step up. which is basically where he steps from his cage onto another object usually your finger lol but we have not got that far yet so charlie steps up onto a wooden spoon. which my youngest Jordan called the "broomstick" haha. Andrew held apple on a skewer and touched his tummy near his feet and called "step up " and used his name a lot and he picked it up really quickly. he now steps up for all of us on the spoon. Sometimes birds stick to one person but we are doing our best to make sure he is nice to everyone lol. So now charlies cage is always open when we are in the house he likes to sit on the top and just spend time there. He sometimes goes exploring around the house by trying his best to fly/glide and he does it quite well. I was terrified when he had wing clipped thought it might hurt him etc, he did squawk infact never heard him make a noise before and he didnt do it since but that was just before it was clipped whilst holding him he didnt like being held in the towel and his wing opened. but clipping his wing didnt hurt him one bit.
He has progressed so much, he even let jordan stroke him today but wasnt for long before he moved away. i have changed his toys around in his cage and he is back to playing with basket ball hoop and ball. He is adorable and i cant wait for the day he comes down to us to sit with us.
