Morning moon
Woke up early on a blissfully sunny March morning, with the just-past-full moon shining in through my window. I deliberately shot it through trees but wasn't sure which version to use. Other two are included as extras.
I found this helpful website, which gives moonrise and fall times, with directions, for your location: Manchester in my case. https://www.timeanddate.com/moon/uk/manchester
I've also been looking at the various names given to full moons, Most of us would be familiar with the Harvest Moon and Hunter's Moon, I think. I assumed they were ancient English names but, apparently, they are from native American tribes, mainly. Any pre-industrial / rural society would be more aware of the night sky than we are.
This is the Snow Moon and the one at the end of March is the Worm Moon.
