Portrait...

Today is N’s birthday and so we chose to go for a picnic to the beach for the ‘celebration with Mum’  part of the day. She got out the car for a very short walk .....she is very physically frail these days ...and I grabbed the opportunity to get a portrait shot of her. I just loved the sense of life and history in her face :) She’s beginning to show her nearly 100 years of life. 
N had a lovely day too ....says he feels he can actually be retired legitimately now ! We also had a very entertaining zoom call with the young folk where we discovered how to add filters to our screens!!!
