On the beach

Back to one of my favourite haunts of John Muir Country Park in East Lothian today, for a fascinating photographic exploration of the shore at low tide. The detail is incredible - the more you look, the more you see. Though it was low tide when I arrived, I did very nearly get caught out when, lost in concentration setting up a shot, I heard a rushing of water, accompanied by a rise in humidity in the feet department. I got the shot, though. This is not it; this is a detail of tiny shells, caught on that wonderful borrowed macro (thank you, Maggie).
