Martinski at 30, winning the Glasgow Marathon!

Well, not quite, but I ran my best ever marathon time, clocked at 3 hours, 2 minutes and 36 seconds, but in all probability, a sub-3 hour run. (Because it took a while to reach the start line. No electronic tagging then.) I loved running and continued well into my fifties running all sorts of road races. My brisk walk yesterday reminded me of if. Head down, I will make it! In recent years I just didn't enjoy it any more, so I stopped.
