A beautiful day...

again after a hard frost. The ridge above the house was silver. 
Enjoyed a lovely walk here in the sun all the time. The Skylarks were singing and a flock of about fifty Peesies (Lapwings) arrived and flew up the glen, so good to see them.
Surprised to watch this Ermine, (Stoat) hunting , in and out of rabbit holes. Three Buzzards appeared overhead and he hid in a rabbit hole with just his head and shoulders out as he watched them. Unfortunately, as there is no snow left here he was very obvious!!!
