Sphinx with a scarf

We took a walk around Compton Verney in the two or three hours of sunshine this afternoon.  Not many visitors so it was easy to keep clear of everyone else and find a few unobstructed viewpoints. Several entertaining pieces of welly boot art about the park too, but we didn't see the Greebes JDO blipped a couple of days back.

I liked this view of one of the bridge sphinxes, which all have these rather fetching tartan scarves on. Well it is the 2nd day of Spring!

The coffee 'horse box' was doing a steady trade - very impressed that they had some dairy free hot chocolate and a variety of alternative milks too, so Gill was able to have something other than her usual decaffeinated tea.
