I'm Still Standing

I remembered this morning that it will be 10 years tomorrow since I had the bike accident, so thought I would post a selfie to celebrate still being alive :-) Sometimes things may  seem bad at the time, but  they turn out to have been not exactly a blessing in disguise, but more like a wake up call. Nothing like a near-death experience to remind you to appreciate everything and everyone.

Anyway, I was out again for a lot of this lovely day. We had a hard frost overnight and despite the sun, there is still ice in the shaded parts of the garden. I was grateful for my hat :-)

Today's walk: Stepford round with detour to Killyleoch. Sunny. 5.12 miles.
