Engrossed

I haven't enjoyed going to town for the past few months, but I was glad to go today to get some variety for a blip. I couldn't resist this colourful scene with the greens and reds. There weren't many people around and most had masks, so I felt quite comfortable having a short walkabout. I liked the flag caught by the wind in the extra.
When we got home, I had a brisk half hour walk down to the mailbox to send a birthday card to Kalyn's roommate. It's been awhile since I had a walk by myself, and it felt great. Still a chilly wind coming off the water, but I was warm enough to keep my gloves in my pocket. Not quite feeling like Spring yet, but getting there!
