A neighbourhood treasure

Growing between two neighbouring villas, I also get a lovely view of this tree from further away, with the Remarkables mountains in the distance. It’s beautifully shaped chestnut.

Still no CV19 community positive cases relative to the latest outbreak in Auckland. I think that tomorrow is D-day. (Not sure what that D is for - Disease?) We’re holding our collective breaths! Everyone is wary about the latest Brazilian variant, but so far we seem to have escaped it.
