Bonfire

More gardening today. Super to see the new shoots and leaves appearing and the daffodil flower buds just about ready to open. Lottie found the whole thing very boring but when I gave her a chew to occupy her, she buried it in the border!

Mike had a grand bonfire on the beach in the evening, to burn all the prunings from the hedge. Spectacular flames and sparks in the night sky. It was a perfect evening for it. We stood and watched it for ages.
