World Book Day

Today is World Book Day. To celebrate, I have photographed the four books I have at my bedside ; they have come as a welcome blip as the only other one in the can is a pot of bubbling soup.

You can gather from that I have only been out once to pick up a newspaper, the rain rather put me off, not to mention the temperature of 1°. A fair weather pedestrian am I.

However I have made that soup, washed 3 floors and read the paper from cover to cover; so many angry words to take in from the USA to Scotland and London.

With the weather improving I may have to venture forth this afternoon, but first I have a Zoom meeting when I may hear my voice for the first time today!
