The genius and the fat butcher

The joker. A powerful card that is often left out of the pack.

When the remains of a very short man were discovered in the 1960s in Florence, they were attributed to the early renaissance painter Giotto.  One sceptic however said they were probably nothing more than that of a fat butcher. Ouch! But you do sometimes feel as if life is having a laugh at your expense ... and there are many things we will never know. 

All I did was work and struggle today. But Strider coked us a lovely curry to brighten our evening. He is becoming something of an artist in the kitchen ... no joking ...

Talking of genius, our cleaner Mrs B started back with us after furlough today. So lovely to see her again. And her skills have left us with a magical, sparkling house ...
