Tired eyes

I’ve had the odd punch or kick to the legs, arms or body but they’ve never really bothered me that much but today....it got me!
A well placed right hook landed directly on my cheek bone.
Maybe it was because it hit my face (it wasn’t particularly sore), Maybe it was the sheer size of the diplomatic task and securing the safety of all. Maybe it was just the speed it went at. Most likely it was all rolled into one. But come 10:45, the rest of my morning was shot (and the same for at least four others). Got through the afternoon just fine. But home this evening and I was just exhausted! :(
