Thursday: Reflections

I worked downtown today - and as if that wasn’t excitement enough two of my colleagues were also in!  Ana Marija and Andrea, whom I last saw about five months ago in person, were also there - we were quite giddy!  Things got very involved later in the day when the three of us spent a disproportionate amount of time deciding what dishes Andrea should get in her Chinese takeaway for dinner.  

And more excitement in the form of lunch with my newly arrived Argentinian colleague.  He was very pleasant company.  He’s just recently emerged from two weeks self-isolation during which border guards came to check on him twice to make sure he was complying.
