1943 - 2021

First thing this morning, we received the phone call we were dreading.

Deb's Mum passed away at 7am in Blackpool hospital, having suffered a heart attack and stroke on Tuesday.

However much you convince yourself that it's best that she slipped away without excessively suffering, it is still an immensely sad time. 

The photo shows Dorothy about 30 years ago with Deb, about 18 years ago with Andy, and a few weeks ago (the last photo I took of her).

I do like the smile in the last photo - I did have the ability to make her laugh (a mixture of playing the fool and seriously bad dancing) 

She celebrated her 78th birthday just a few weeks ago, she will be so missed.
