Southerness Lighthouse
Please view Large on Black, to appreciate the contrast, and movement.
Today was the anniversary of Debs Mums passing. Doesn't seem like a year ago.
We drove up to Middlebie and left flowers on the grave. Then drove to Sweetheart Abbey, only to find it closed and scaffolded. So we went on to Southerness and visited the lighthouse. Arrived just as the tide was turning.
Tripod, little stopper and a reverse grad (as the sky was much lighter at the horizon than at the top of the picture). A single exposure didn't get nearly enough movement in the clouds, so I shot it as a 10-shot multi exposure in camera. Verticals straightened in PS
