Miss Lakeland

To remind me that I got quite cold swimming in circles round the yachts waiting for Miss Lakeland to be pulled up the ramp so that you could have a picture of her, half out of the water.   The pleasure boats have been moored up for months so I was quite alarmed to see her heading towards me as I swam to the yellow buoy in the middle of the lake at about 9:00am this morning. Having manoeuvred her into position they spent ages shouting at each other and miming pulling actions with their arms but nothing happened. I got cold and swam back. Of course by the time I got out of the water so was Miss Lakeland 

The Virtual Walk - having only swum 520m I've not gone far along Hadrian's Wall today.
