St Marys C of E Church, Kippax

Taken this morning whilst out with Molly. We had a local walk today as she loves all the sniffs, takes us forever.

The Church of Saint Mary remains the oldest building in the village, and is thought to have been built by the Normans in about 1080.you can see the herringbone pattern on the lower part of the tower. But it is thought to have been there before the conquest.  It's a lovely church inside

It was a lovely morning, a bit chilly on the face but I was wrapped up warm and so was Molly.

Got our census letter today so as we knew there would definitely be no one staying at our house on the 21st March except us we filled it in online and submitted it. Some questions and answers are confusing. They ask a  question and then give a series of answers, for instance what is your nationality the answers given which you have to tick one says English, British, Irish, Scottish or Welsh or Other so am I British or English. I went for English. Anyhow done now.

Well another weekend is upon us, so happy weekend everyone
