Bernice the Bather

I have a mobile home park where I can generally count on finding both bathing pelicans and bathing cormorants. 

No cormorants today, but the pelicans did not disappoint.

I love to watch this.

They come to the freshwater pond,
from the salty bay.
They raise and lower their wings,
to create the foamy spray.

YAY!
