Anniversary, day 2

Since traveling farther is complicated right now, we decided to celebrate by visiting places close by that are dear to us. Today we came to The Dalles area. Across the river, on Washington side, is one of our favorite places to visit, especially when the wild flowers are in bloom. There were a few early ones already; a Meadow Saffron is in the second extra. Western Meadow Larks were there, filling the air with their song - in the first extra.
