Jaywalking

Back to grey days today. We have been orienteering at Swinsty & Beecroft Wood and I carried my small camera with me but there was nothing that took my eye and, besides, Val started one minute behind me and I wanted to keep ahead of her! We'll see when the results are published!

The jay has become an early morning visitor to the elder tree and Tony spotted him when he brought up my breakfast so this blip had to be taken through the window. I was umming and aahing whether to upload this one which shows off his fine plumage, but I quite like the quirkiness of the one I have gone with and the background DOF.
