The night before school

Exactly two months ago, we had the uniform laid out, shoes polished and were ready to go.. Only to be told no. 

We've had an amazing two months, we've all learnt so much, enjoyed time together we didn't think we would have and been a right old little team.  It's been stressful, exhausting, but also full of support from the school - and I've got to know the teachers in a way that I could not have done otherwise. 

Pretty quiet day at home, I had thought the boys might be quite up and down this weekend, but they have been great.  We did have ice-cream for pudding tonight to celebrate the last two months and see-in back to school. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
Lie-in after a late night (and a G & T) getting the internet sorted (all sorted now) 
Sewing more seeds with the eldest - the last lot are doing really well in our spare-room, which is repurposed to very good effect 
Back to school tomorrow.  It'll do us all a lot of good!
