Sandhill Cranes

This morning between rain showers I went over to the wetlands to look for the sandhill cranes.  I found a few, but they were quite a longs ways away.  I walked out into the field and practiced handholding and panning.  I much prefer the tripod and ball head but it worked pretty well.
