Lady In Waiting

I have a pair of Canada geese outside my back door every evening.  They're not quiet either -- lots of honking.  It's my own fault because, not having learned a lesson about feeding, or rather not feeding, geese, I offered them some bread a week or so ago and they've stopped by ever since.  My theory is that this is the female and she's incubating some kids.  The male always stands back and unless I hit him on the beak with a piece of bread, he lets his mate eat first.  If they keep the secret I'll be okay, but if they can't keep their beaks shut, I'll have the whole flock outside the door.  

Haven't seen Louie yet but the coots were having their usual swim-along, and having a lot of fun.   (See Extra)
